Mark is  a third generation fisherman. He started fishing with his parents when he was just 10 years old Gill Netting, Crabbing and Long Lining. He also salmon seined south east Alaska on the lady Jane in 1984, fished Bering Sea Pollock on the Alyeska, Alaska Ocean and Pegasus. He bought his boat in 1990 and has fished crab ever since. Mark then bought a Puget Sound Shrimp Trawl permit in 2009. Mark is one of the fortunate few to own a Shrimp Trawl permit as there are only 5 in the State of Washington. Mark has been involved in a variety of other ventures to numerous to list.

Mark has served as Treasurer for the Association since 2006 and is very diligent in his duties.
