Chris was born and raised in Oak Harbor, WA where he still currently resides with his wife Kourtney. He graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in management. He started Set-Netting in Cook Inlet for salmon as a young boy and has stuck with it for 19 years. Other fishing experiences include Bristol Bay Drift Gill-Netting and a little Halibut long lining. After graduating college in 2010 he bought into the Puget Sound Crab fishery and now fishes alongside his father Dave and as of 2016 his brother Danny as well.
